Waves on Static: A Static Flow Workshop (90 Minutes)

  • Saturday, June 1st @ 3:30pm UK Time

  • Bendy Pole Studio

  • Level: Intermediate+

This workshop focuses on static pole techniques that will build internal and external body awareness to access a flow channel between the mind and body. We will explore body waves, isolations and taking up space in each position as we move around the pole. The goal of this workshop is to develop detail with familiar movement and isolation control through breath allowing our bodies to move slowly and our minds to follow in pursuit. Breath-work will be the key to releasing tension in parts of our bodies that usually hold the most stiffness.

By the end of class we will try the full sequence and moments that resonated the most with our bodies.
