SPIRALS

All levels spin pole

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH 7:00PM

Level: Open Level

This class will be held in person in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Trace and Tension is a beginner-friendly heels pole workshop that invites dancers to explore the push and pull between precision and release. We’ll begin with a guided warm-up targeting the muscle groups essential for grounded, intentional movement in heels. From there, we’ll break down a foundational sequence—tracing the mechanics of each transition with care before layering in musicality, breath, and personal expression. As we build tension through deliberate pacing and control, you’ll learn to balance strength with softness. We’ll close with space for freestyle exploration using the learned sequence as a guiding thread, followed by a cool-down stretch and a reflective debrief.

THE SHAPE OF FLESH

Intermediate static pole

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST 1:30PM

Level: Intermediate Level

This class will be held in person in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Shape of Flesh is a pole workshop rooted in breath, control, and the fluid tension of transition. Together, we’ll sculpt a foundational sequence built from ascending and descending movements, exploring how the body molds itself around the pole—whether climbing up or grounding into the floor. Emphasis will be placed on slowing down, breathing through each shift, and sinking into micro-movements that give shape to our flesh in motion. We’ll dive into how static holds and transitions become expressive vessels. Dancers will personalize the base sequence and discover pathways that feel instinctual and embodied. This workshop is a space to witness the sensual potential of stillness and the quiet power of control.
