continuum

Low flow spin in heels

SATURDAY DECEMBER 6TH 5:00PM

Level: Open Level

This Workshop is in person in Brussels, Belgium at Vertical Studio

Continuum is a low flow spin in heels workshop exploring breath, weight, and circular motion. Using the floor as an apparatus, we’ll study how each edge of the heel becomes both a stopping and initiation point within rotation. This is where momentum meets control and creates transitional fluidity. Through stillness, micro-movement, and awareness, we’ll discover how pressure and release create continuity, returning to the moments that resonate most with our bodies.

pivot & carve

AN edgework focused heels workshop

SATURDAY DECEMBER 6TH 6:30PM

Level: Open Level

This Workshop is in person in Brussels, Belgium at Vertical Studio

Pivot & Carve introduces the foundations of edge work through awareness, control, and articulation. Using both bare feet and heels, students will explore how to merge the mind-body connection through drills that engage and dissect the rotation, activation, and micro-muscles of the foot. We’ll move through three key concepts and elements to understand how the floor becomes both resistance and release learning to carve pathways and pivot through transitions.
